Our Story: The Heart of Mamoyo
"Mamoyo", “mother of the heart” in Shona, a totem deeply rooted in love, resilience, & community. We grew up surrounded by powerful women—our mothers, aunts & grandmothers—whose courage, sacrifice, & determination shaped us. They nurtured, built communities, & planted seeds of empowerment, in the face of adversity.
We witnessed firsthand the injustices women face. Women tend to fields, homes & families, all while holding their communities together. Despite their hard work, they're often overlooked & deprived of rights & resources they deserve. Injustice ignited our passion. With a vision to support & uplift women farmers, entrepreneurs & youth. That they're empowered to thrive—not just survive.
Our work spans wellness retreats, eco-farming, agritourism & sports centers. Programs to create lasting change by offering hands-on training & income-generating opportunities. When women rise, entire communities rise.
We can’t do this alone. This journey requires your heart, too. through funding, collaboration or support, your involvement can help us transform the lives of countless women & youth.
